A request of HOPE!

So when meeting with the director a few days ago I was advised to invite a few friends for a class. The first thought that ran though my head was when. After asking her she replied Monday the 4th I wasn’t excited about this because I knew that was only 6 days away. My thoughts were it would take 2 days just to get everyone address and 1 to make out the invites and another day to get to them via mail. Nervous I looked through the list of friends for days each one giving me a reason why they couldn’t make the date that was only days away but I quickly replied back with a second date I had chosen and asked them to save that date and that the invites will be going out. I took a day putting together the best invite I have ever made and signed each one with a special note. With hopes of a miracle I prayed that night that half would show at least... My Goal

So I sit the rest of the day and think who am I going to have be my first attempt. I began to loose hope as night fell but then I realized my Mother In Law was going to be here in just a few minutes and after we went shopping together and had a nice dinner I might just get her to sit and listen. Sure enough after dinner I cleaned off the table and asked her to come see my cool new stuff. She has always been supportive of the things I have done in the past so I was sure it wouldn’t be different today. I happened to get lucky and I have a good mother in law. LOL We still get on each others nerves but she loves me like a daughter and I love her as if she were the Mom I never had. After taking her through the steps I couldn’t believe my eyes I never seen my "MOM" look so good. I said you really look good and I am not saying that to get you to buy something (I really wasn't). Ok so I am going to give you a bit of info that will help you understand how much this means...

My husband is so tight with money he squeaks and he got it for someone. LOL (I love you Dear)

I pulled out the catalog with NO intentions of her buying a thing and she looked through it for a long time quietly. I couldn’t help wonder if she was doing this to make me happy or to pass time. She quickly asked now how much is the Miracle set. I answered with a confident answer knowing that if she bought the set it would truly be a MERICLE. I also explained that she would get a long use out of the product it wasn’t just a few days. She responded with "I think I want to buy that" My heart skipped a beat heck God was listening when I said my prayers. I will be praying tonight for another good day tomorrow.

What is that Outside?

I was SUPRISED when I heard a loud brake out side and when I looked out to see a big UPS truck a thought ran through my head "What did I order? OH HA HA It’s Hear! MY KIT Yippy!" I quickly swung the door open and ran to the kitchen for a knife to open my prize. (don't worry I didn’t run back) So I pulled everything out of the box all over the floor it looked like Christmas. LOL I can lie I totally ignored the sticker that said open 1st and open 2nd because I was so excited to see so much make up I looked through all the colors. HA HA I thought I am really going to this "OH NO I am really going to do this I don’t have any idea what I am doing" So this is where OPEN this 1st stepped in for me. I carefully put all the Mary Kay product back where it was and Opened the first set up with a lost feeling. Some of these thing I never seen (and I went to a party). As I pulled out the disk and popped it into the DVD player I began to hear audio but did not see a movie at first I was confused but then I realized this is just audio disappointed I listened for a few tracks and moved on to Pack 2. This is where I found Disk two this was a video. I paused it and grabbed a pad of paper and a pen and began to watch my first class with learning how to in mind. After a great class with note book in hand I decided to make a goal to hold a class by the end of the day. Read on to see what happened.

So I met with the Director today Tuesday just one day after making the decision to make the jump into Mary Kay and we had a great talk. We talked about where I have been and where I want to go. The more I talk about Mary Kay the more I realize I am going to go as far as I make myself go. With this said I plan to go miles and I am packing because I am not coming back. lol I know if you are reading this you may be thinking like I did just days ago these people are all so excited about "makeup". It is more than makeup it is more friends, money more, more life to live and until I see otherwise this is what I dare to DREAM. WISH ME LUCK

The struggle to get the kit need to get started.

I thought I would take a moment to in detail explain the road ahead. My husband is the only income in our family of four to allow me to be a Student for Paramedic to RN program at Stark State College. As today ways are much different then the past, two incomes are vital in a family. Because, I have not brought income to our family over 3 years we have lived pay check to pay check sometime not making it for all of those 3 years. So when I got the new that it was going to take $100.00 to Start this new road I was excited to take it hit like a tone of bricks. I immediately began to think of ways I could make this $100.00 because barrowing it was NOT an option. Donating Plasma came to mind, working at a temp job for a few days. Then it hit me I get Child Support that we try not to consider income for my Son to get the things he need like clothes, etc. The more I thought about it the less I felt that this was SURLY NOT just for me and was for my FAMILY as a whole and that $100.00 was enough to buy new clothes BUT, I could turn it into ALOT more. I decided to put faith in God and myself and use this money to get my NEW WORK MATERAILS.

OK so I just Went onto my Facebook and asked all near and Far Women to help me start my bisness by haveing a party for me. It is late in the evening so I dont expect answers to start coming in untill tomorrow. Althought I did get 1 maybe from the person I thought would be leat likely to have one. Glad I sent this to ALL FACEBOOK WOMEN FRIENDS/FAMILY cant wait to see results tomorrow.
